Hi everyone!
My regular group has recently had its numbers reduced due to people’s lives
getting hectic, and so we’re looking for one or two more players to join us for
games. At the moment, we’re trying out a bunch of different games by doing
short 3-5 session campaigns and some one-shots. (So if you’re unfamiliar with
whatever we’re playing, don’t worry because we probably are too!)
On a sliding
scale of crunch to storytelling, we generally lean more towards the storytelling
end of the spectrum. We’ve currently just started a short Numenera campaign. In
the past, we’ve played things like Fate, PbtA games (ex. Monster of the Week),
The Skeletons, Fiasco, The Quiet Year, etc. Some of the games we plan to play
in the future include Masks, Fall of Magic, Good Society, etc. and we’re always
open to suggestions.
I’m usually
the GM, though other people have taken up that role on occasion, and we’ve also
played some GM-less games. My preferred group size to GM is 4 or 5 people, but never
more than 6 and no fewer than 3.
Our group is
mostly people in their twenties and thirties, and mostly in eastern North
America (some Canadians, some Americans). We communicate via Discord voice chat
and use roll20 for character sheets, maps and dice rolls.
